To blog or not to blog?

written by our friend, Anna T.

Nowadays more and more people choose to have a blog about many things such as sports, foods, fashion, nature and of course blogs about travel. If I chose to have a blog, I would definitely travel. Having a travel blog has pros and cons.

First of all, when you have a travel blog, you help other people broaden their horizons. Through your stories, videos and pictures you allow them to get to know other countries, cultures, habits  and languages. Also, you can get sponsored by brands and companies and they would pay for your trip always or sometimes. The most important thing is that you have all of your travelling memories in a site where  you’ll always be able to find them.

Although it sounds great to have a travel blog and you share memories with your followers, there is also the opposite side. Firstly, you have to spend a lot of money on trips to keep your followers interested. In addition, you have to spend a lot of time to make the blog good enough. You have to choose the best photos and videos taken from the daily life of the locals and from unique natural landscapes. Furthermore, you have to take a lot of pictures and videos while traveling and sometimes this distracts you from enjoying the trip to the fullest.

Despite all of this, sharing your experiences with people who may not be able to travel to other countries, but also suggesting places with people who used to travel is a very positive thing and makes you feel happy.

When you travel, you see the world as you’ve never seen it before!
